Another benefit inherent in whole grain foods, as well as many fruits and vegetables, is the miraculous foodstuff known as fiber. I am 5’7 123 pounds and 16 years old and i need to lose weight around my stomach i feel like i have love handles and a tummy although i am athletic and in ok shape and everything. If i tell my parents i want to lose weight then they will give me the speech about how i should be happy with my body..blah..blah..blah. I already eat low fat everything and do crunches and planks at least once a day. Is there any way to lose this weight its so frustrating??!!

4. Quit Boozing

but my question is how can i get rid of it quickly, cuz i would really be happy if i could be a bit less chubby before i start high school.

To a very high degree, you should weigh as much as you feel happy with weighing.

As far as a "healthy weight", that’s what most of the other posts are about (calculating your BMI, diet plans, etc)…. but most people will say what the "average" is according to different opinions.

As long as you are at a weight where you are healthy, the most important part is that you are HAPPY with your weight… not that you "should be X pounds", but that no matter what you weigh, you are happy with that instead of striving to be a size 2 or something like that

That being said, if you want to lose weight, exercise is a really good (and safe) way to lose weight. In addition to that, I would recommend meeting with a nutritionist or dietitian to see if there is something else that may benefit you more

I want a flat stomach and lose all the fat on my stomach. I want to lose it really quickly but I don’t want to do sit ups and stuff because I’ve heard that you just gain muscle tone underneath your fat so your tummy just gets bigger. I want to lose it fast but I hate jogging so what are some other ways to lose it without going to the gym and using all the fancy machines because I can’t afford it. I’m only eating two square meals a day and they’re both really healthy I just want to know how to get rid of fat on my belly and love handles.

Losing belly fat takes discipline and a change in lifestyle habits. For example, any time you want to lose weight, you must cut calories, giving up certain foods and beverages. Once you have done that, any exercises that involve the abdomen are good, provided you use proper form.

Fat-Burning Exercise
Running, stair climbing, elliptical training, rowing, brisk walking, and spinning all have something in common: They burn fat throughout your whole body, including your belly. Perform your preferred cardiovascular exercise for 60 to 90 minutes three to four days per week. If you are easily bored easy, perform multiple forms of cardio in the same workout, or alternate with each workout.
